Charles has covered nearly every sport, from youth sports to the NFL. He specializes in football, golf, basketball, and baseball. However, he has also written about hockey, rodeo, soccer, cycling, running, track and field, auto racing, and swimming. He also has a news background, and operated an award-winning weekly newspaper.
Since turning to freelancing in 2006, Charles has many satisfied clients. He has written for The Associated Press, The Dallas Morning News, CBSSports.com, AOL Fanhouse, New Orleans Picayune, Corpus Christi Caller-Times, USAHockey.com, and Tucson Lifestyle magazine among others.
